Dick Russell first became aware of the Faith in Action program when he and his family attended a presentation at the church they attended given by Tippy Irwin, the first director of "Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Program", as it was known then. Dick leaned over to his wife, Kathy, and told her, "This is something I want to be involved in after the kids grow up." Little did he know that he would get his wish in a most unsuspected way some eight years later when the Executive Director's position became open. Dick was hired and has served in that capacity since 2003, overseeing the program's expansion from serving 3 towns to now covering 25 different zip codes throughout all of Steuben County. Dick and Kathy reside in Canisteo, NY. They enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren and being involved in their church, where Dick serves as Pastor/Elder.

Angela Jenkins is the office manager at Faith in Action. She has been with FIA since 2016. Angela manages day-to-day operations, scheduling, and works closely with our recipients and volunteers. It will most likely be her friendly voice on the other end of the phone. Angela lives in Hornell with her husband, two sons, and their dog.
